Yeah, some pretty apparent things we must deny if we are to adhere to various forms of Buddhism.
I once heard a great lecture by Douglas Groothuis about Buddhism’s disregard for individuals and personality. In it he said (paraphrasing), “In Buddhism, your personality is an enemy.” That’s why everyone must dress the same, look the same, say the same, think the same, and so on.
